Meilisearch

Meilisearch is a search engine you point at a pile of documents and query a moment later. Typo tolerance, prefix matching and faceted filtering are on by default — there is no query language and nothing to tune first.

The demo has the server running with 31,944 movies already indexed, and a short meili script over its HTTP API. Run meili batman, misspell it as meili shawshenk and watch the right film still come back first, type only meili jur to see prefix matching, filter with meili space --filter 'genres = Horror', then meili add recent.json and search for a film the catalogue had never heard of. The VM is private to your browser tab; nothing you type leaves it.
